ARM Cortex-A15 Processor Promises A 5x Performance

ARM has just announced the Cortex-A15 MPCore processor, which reportedly delivers a 5x performance improvement over today’s smartphone chips, within a comparable power consumption.

Designed for 32nm/28nm processes, the new chip will clock up to 2.5GHz and equip smartphones, tablets, large-screen mobile computing and high-end digital home entertainment devices.
